RV Adjustable Bed:  Two independent adjustable beds for a 2005 Country Coach Inspire 300

Custom Adjustable Bed– Doppelflex MX2 adjustable bed with two motors for each bed

Platform is 60 X 75 inches

Adjustable bed: Two adjustable beds, each 28 X 74.5 inches. Require 1.5 inch air gap from sides of adjustable bed to side table so adjustable back will not graze side tables when raised. One bed with Straight Back option so the head and lumbar sections raise in one motion. Normally the head section raises and does not raise shoulder so side sleepers love it. People who sleep on the back or have Acid reflux or sleep apnea prefer the head not to tip forward.

Mattresses: Two custom Medium Firm (to the comfy) DW 800 mattresses, each 28 X 75 inches.

We have slept in the RV in our driveway both nights, and it was super comfortable. 

Four boxes delivered by FedEx Freight! Two boxes for the two adjustable beds and two boxes for the mattresses. All accessories (foot stopper and side stoppers and transformers) in the same boxes. We have installed the wireless receivers and paired the wireless controllers. The job is to secure the adjustable beds, install the side and foot stoppers and connect the transformers to the motor for power. About 2-3 hour job. Many customers say it takes as long to remove our packaging!

The adjustable bed arrived fully assembled with four L-shaped brackets (see photo above) on the underside that will be screwed with our screws on to the platform.

Installed. Note the blue stickers point to the locations to attach the side and foot stoppers to prevent the mattresses from sliding off. Notice that we measured the location of the side tables from the platform to ensure that when the back is raised, the adjustable back would not interfere with the table jutting out.

The bed has double slats in the lumber region that can be set to be firmer or softer by moving the chocolate colored sliders more and more apart to make each double slat up to 30 percent firmer vs. moving the sliders  all the way together. Slat by slat; so a very precise method to provide back support location and firmness now and as the body changes in time.

There are four side stoppers; two for each outer side of the adjustable bed. In this photo, one screw has been screwed in (only halfway is recommended as it could break the top of the screw head if fully screwed in)

Finally the mattresses are placed side by side. No air gap! The bed in the background has the back and knee sections raised.

Ready for sleep! Notice on the right side that we correctly measured the platform and location of the side table so there is a 1.5 inch air gap to allow the head/back section to not be interfered by the side table jutting in the way.
