“Prior to our purchase I would dread an RV trip lasting longer than a couple of days as I could not sleep well on the poorly designed RV bedding. I have benign positional vertigo that prevents me from sleeping in a prone position and the ability to incline the bed is fantastic !  The mattress is great, and several of our RV traveling friends are in awe!  My wife a I recently spent a week at the lake ( in one of the photos)  and we are thoroughly enjoying our purchase!!

Yong has been a true gentleman and a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process…always just a phone call away. He is a perfect example of what customer service/ customer relations should be !!”

Start of the installation. Four boxes delivered by FedEx Freight.

Two adjustable beds with partial packaging removed.

View of corridor leading to the bed room in the rear.

Side view of the platform where the two adjustable beds will be placed.

The source of power.

The location of the right bed. Note that there is about 2 inches clearance between the side of the frame at the head section to the side wall. We require that so that when raised, the back and mattress will not graze the side wall.

Similar 2 inch air gap from the side of the frame to the wall.

Note that the center of the two beds has a 1 inch air gap so the beds will not rub against each other and for wiggle room during installation.

Both sides of the beds were placed exactly on the edge of the platform.

Leland strapped the transformer under the slats in the non-moving section of the adjustable beds. The transformer is slim and can be placed there with the zip ties preventing the transformer from sliding around.

The view of the transformer from the top. Both transformers were secured similarly.

The head of the bed is raised and you can see that is ample room for the head to avoid the window frame when it is raised.

To install the side stoppers, which keep the two mattresses in place, the procedure is to move aside the slats in the vicinity of the holes to clip on the side stopper. The trick is to use your thumbs to ease out the rubber holster from its nipples that secure the holster, and then slide off the slats. Finally, hook on the U-shaped side stoppers where the pre-drilled holes are located on the inside of the adjustable frame – where the blue stickers identify the vicinity of the holes. See photo below.

Removing the slats to locate the holes and then install the side stopper.

After screwing on the supplied two screws to secure the side stopper to the frame, you will reinstall the slats onto the rubber grey holsters. Like the photos above.

The side stopper is able to be raised without grazing the side wall.

The motion of the back.

Accessing power with an extension cable that is placed inside the storage area – with help from the Golden Retriever, Ava!

The power extension cable with outlets about to be secured.

Hole is made in the ceiling of the storage area so the transformer cable can be snaked to the power extension cord.

Hole made from the top of the platform for the lower cord to snake into the storage area.

View of the transformer cable where the top cable is connected to the motor (lower section of the grey motor) and the lower cable is snaked into the storage area to connect to the extension cord for power.

Checking that everything is balanced!

Another view of the zip-tied transformer below the slats where one places one’s bottom.

When the left bed foot section is lifted, you can see the left transformer is secured. The same for the other transformer in a mirror-image location of the right bed.

Four L-shaped brackets are pre-installed for each bed so you can secure the bed on the plywood platform.

The locations of the power cable wrapped with black tubes.

Testing the motion of the electric cables in the storage area that are protected with black tubes to ensue that the tubes can travel without interference as the platform is slid in and out.

The placement of the foot stopper is determined by the desired location of the mattresses. There are three optional locations to screw on the foot stopper should the customer wish to locate the mattress lower down the bed or further up. Note the three screw holes which are pre-drilled on the foot stopper.

Note how the lower side stopper is doing its job to prevent the mattress from moving off the bed.

The locations of the foot and side stopper at the foot.

The head/back is partially raised and the two mattresses are placed temporarily on top of each other.

Finally, the two mattresses are in place and the bed is ready for sleep!

The bed is made up and the happy couple enjoying a well deserved rest!

Terrific lake location!
