To lift platform for storage access, cut back external frame 28 inches. (Platform hinge location is 27 inches from headboard)

Adjustable bed with packaging removed. Slim; only 4.5 inches thick including the motor.
Steve spent the most time to update the electrical wiring. Several hours versus one hour to install the beds and side and foot stoppers!
Notice that the external frame was cut 28 inches from the top so the platform (which the remaining external frame is screwed on), can be raised to access storage normally. You can see where the hinge is located and the external frame starts just below the hinge location.
Steve moved aside, the slats so he could hook on the side stoppers that keep the two sets of mattresses from sliding off. You can see the side stopper location on the order bed – beside the foot and another beside the shoulder.
