Gerald and Gina!

Gerald has a great sense of humor. He loves cracking jokes. I can understand why he has a successful heating and air-conditioning business. He simply enjoys every moment of life and interacting with people. You will see his videos and wonder with all the fun he has with his toys, when does he have time to work. Or should one ask, with all the work he has, when does he have time to play?

Gerald has, ” Got a Lot of Livin’ To Do”

Adjustable Bed:  Custom King Doppelflex MX2 TWO-MOTOR ADJUSTABLE SYSTEM ( Each Adjustable bed 33.5″ x 77″). Two independently operated beds.

To lift platform for storage access, cut back external frame 30.5 inches. (Platform hinge location is 30 inches from headboard). This results in 44.5 inch section of the lower external frame available to be screwed onto platform using four L-shape brackets for each adjustable bed.  This platform (with the adjustable beds and mattresses) can then be raised normally to access the storage area.

Mattress Model: DW 800 Medium-Firm to the Comfy Mattress. Each mattress 34 x 78 inches.

RV Model: 2010 Tiffin Zephyr 45QBZ

Customers: Gerald and Gina Brown

Location: Ringgold, GA.

This is Vince who helped Gerald. They hooked up the system and tested it before installation.

Out with the OLD!

In with the NEW!

They removed the platform to install the transformers as shown below.

Gerald and Vince were meticulous in having a tidy installation.

The transformer cables are ready to be connected to the motors. Space ready to place the two adjustable beds.

The two adjustable beds placed side by side with the transformer cables hooked up to the motors (which are on the left side of each bed, looking from the foot up). Note that the side of the adjustable bed was sized in width so it would not graze the stone table beside the head section when it is raised.

One more test before screwing every thing down.

Notice the blue tape on the slat. The blue tapes on the side is the location where the side stoppers should be installed. Remove the slats and the screw holes on the inside of the adjustable frame will be exposed. The  hook on the side stoppers and screw them into the adjustable frame. The side stoppers in the center are not required.

The blue tape at the foot is just above the location for the Foot stopper to be screwed on the bottom wooden beam to prevent the mattress from sliding down (See below).

Installing the last item: the foot stopper. Making sure it did not graze the handle when the slider is brought in.

The mattress on one side. Note the side stopper on the right side. The side stopper in the center is not required.
