ASSUME PLATFORM IS 73 X 79 INCH, ASSUME HINGE LOCATION IS 28 INCHES FROM HEADBOARD. HEADBOARD IS 2 INCH THICK. SO NET FOOT PRINT IS 71 X 77 INCH.
MAKE TWO CUSTOM ADJUSTABLE BEDS EACH APPROX 35 X 77 INCH. CUT BACK EXTERNAL FRAME 28 INCHES FROM THE BACK SO PLATFORM CAN BE NORMALLY LIFTED TO ACCESS STORAGE.
TWO CUSTOM MATTRESSES, EACH APPROX 35 X 78 INCH.

Adjustable bed: Four Motor Uberflex MX 4

RV Mattress model: Two DW 800 mattresses Medium firm (to Comfy). Each 33 x 78 inches

Start of project.

Made hole to allow cables for transformers to access from the storage compartment.

Both beds secured with screws on platform. Testing four motor motion.

Made hole on the underside of platform for the transformer cable to be placed in storage compartment.

The large black box is one of two control boxes for the two independent adjustable beds.

Side stoppers in place. The black remote controller is in the background and placed in the black cradle.

Sufficient clearance for the bed to be raised without affecting the window valence.

The foot stopper is screwed on top of the foot section to provide the height to retain the mattress from slipping off.
