Customer Quote:
“We have been in Fort Langley for the winter and have enjoyed it minus the rain!
Helen and I have been trying to figure out a way to have recliners in our 25FB and of course with space constraints it has been a challenge to have comfortable recliners.
Until now!
Working with Axel Bloom Custom RV Beds, we have our new Axel Bloom wireless remote, two motor motion control bed.  It takes our Queen short space and creates a two motor system to achieve infinite combinations of knee, thigh and back / shoulder motor adjustable via wireless remote.  All of the components are from Germany and Austria and Axel Bloom Beds in Los Angeles has been just fantastic at building the system to our exact specifications. They then send it out via FedEx Freight.  The quality and components are flawless and Axel Bloom’s customer service is 110 percent! The owner is Yong. An absolutely super guy with incredible attention to detail and flawless customer service.
So now we have a fully adjustable and motorized recliner sofa and dual twin bed combination.

Helen and I say that sleeping on these Axel Bloom mattresses feels like sleeping on a cloud!”

I wanted to show you our installation as done today.  As I previously mentioned I tend to over engineer and over build.  As a result, each bed is secured to the bed platform with matte anodized Aluminum Angle.  By using this method and materials it has achieved a very strong deck and bed assembly.  As we travel in this unit a lot, especially to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico the roads can be bumpy to say the least.  I wanted to have an incredibly strong assembly and I’m sure you will agree that we have achieved this.   Included are installation pictures and of our winter camping paradise in Puerto Vallarta!

The completed adjustable system. Beautiful choice of colors for the bed cover, pillow and duvets!

The anodized aluminum frame. This is the first time we have seen a customer installation as professionally assembled.

One adjustable in place. Note the the external frame has been cut back just below the hinge location. By electrically lifting the back, the platform can be raised (normally) from the foot to access the storage compartment without having the full length of the adjustable bed in mid air! See below.

Platform lifted with adjustable beds on top, secured with four L-shape brackets for each adjustable bed, that are screwed onto the platform. Note: existing struts do the job. No need to replace them.

The two adjustable systems have about 1 inch air gap between them so they do not rub against each other especially when driving the trailer or when sleeping.

Both adjustable beds secured. This Adjustable bed model, the Quattroflex MX2 , has a sophisticated hybrid suspension. It consist of slats that are holstered at each end that flex and in the lumbar region, soft and firm pods that can be interchanged to fine tune the firmness and dynamics of the support. In addition, red firmness inserts can be added to each pod to further firm up the pod. Note that we made a custom head extension at the very top to bridge the space from the head to the headboard. This space was the result of sliding down the standard adjustable bed to bend at the hinge location (30 inch from headboard).

The back raises in two motions: first the head section alone raises (leaves the shoulder alone; especially nice for shoulder sleepers so you can find a “sweet spot” to cradle the head, neck and shoulder by raising the head section from 0 to 25 degrees – before the motor lifts the lumbar region for reading/watching TV. The foot section (not seen above) is raised at the knee 10 inches vertically. Great for “Zero Gravity Sleep Position”!

The view of the firmer (grey color pods). The red inserts that further stiffens the pod are, by default, placed on the row of pods filling the air gap between the shoulder and the waist. They can be removed by the customer if they wish to have a softer support. (Conversely, we can provide firmer or softer pods at the time of purchase to in future as the customers’ body condition changes).

Below, on the right side pods, is the motor that is anchored on one side and drives two steel shafts which rotate and drive two shafts  – one on each side, that in turn move the head and back sections of the adjustable bed. This two – shaft propulsion mechanism is therefore more even in supporting the body and more durable and stable (no rocking from side to side) than a center -located motor which lifts only in the center. The same mechanism lifts the foot/leg sections at the knee

The left side of the aluminum frame. Perfect!
